I've just configured my server to use IPv6 as well as IPv4 however, using a tunnel from Hurricane Electric. The tunnel itself works fine - I can connect to the internet using it just fine, and with the firewall disabled I can connect to the server over the intetnet. However, I can't work out how to actually configure FIAIF to run the firewall for the IPv6 interface. So far I've got to the point where it's complaining that the IP addresses aren't correct, and I'm just not sure what I'm meant to be specifing to make it work or even if FIAIF supports IPv6 or not. The version I'm using is the version in apt for a Debian 4.0 box, as is iptables and everything. -- Graham Cox -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I have already begun work on the second generation generation firewall system (I'm do not think I will call it Fiaif, but time will tell), which will support both ipv4 and ipv6.
